Zondoma: The traditional raising of the colors took place on September 1, 2025, at the Gourcy High Commission. At this solemn ceremony, education stakeholders received congratulations from the province’s chief executive, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabe.
According to Burkina Information Agency, as every first Monday of the month, the raising of the colors took place this Monday, September 1, 2025, at the Gourcy High Commission. In his address to the province’s vital forces after the raising of the colors carried out by the Gourcy national police, High Commissioner Aboubacar Sidiki Nabe recalled the importance of this tradition desired by the highest authorities of the country. “It is important that the mobilization be effective for the raising of the colors; we cannot tire ourselves out for it,” he said.
He also expressed his recognition and congratulations to all the actors of basic education in his province for their performances during the past school year. The province ranked first in the Northern Region in the Primary School Certificate (CEP) exams with a success rate of 93.49%. Additionally, they won the title of best educational supervisor of the year and best teacher in the Northern Region in the national excellence competition organized by the Ministry of Education.
Other points of satisfaction were noted by the first official of the province, particularly in the agricultural sector where the progress of the campaign augurs a good season and the mobilization of funds in the order of 362,700 CFA francs by secondary education staff for the benefit of the fighting forces. Before concluding, he invited the active forces to remain mobilized behind the fighting forces who deserve to be supported.
