Vivo Energy Ghana Plc, the Shell Licensee, in line with its commitment to fostering quality education has contributed to the Ghana Education Service's (GES) 'My First Day at School' initiative. This programme, which aims to provide a warm welcome to new entrants to Kindergarten1 (KG1) and those transitioning to Basic one, received a boost with the donation of essential educational supplies from the company. The package,, which included a variety of items for a successful start to the school year, were stationery, books, school bags, bottles of water, water bottles, natural juice, and biscuits among others. The supplies would be distributed across various Districts and Regional Education Directorates, ensuring that young learners were well-equipped for their educational journey. The 'My First Day at School' initiative is an annual programme organised by the Ghana Education Service to create a positive and supportive environment for children beginning their formal education. Vivo Energy Ghana is helping to ensure that students have the resources to succeed from day one. In a brief ceremony, Mr. Jean-Michel Arlandis, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, highlighted the importance of the donation: 'Education is the foundation for a brighter future, and we are proud to support the Ghana Education Service since 2019 in welcoming young learners to school. 'We believe that by supporting these young pupils through education, we are helping them grow and take ownership of their lives.
