The mayor of Praia said Wednesday the municipality is taking firm, planned steps towards realizing the vision of a city with equal opportunities, transparency, justice and partnership.
Francisco Carvalho made these considerations during the solemn ceremony commemorating the Municipality of Praia Day, having announced the works have already been resumed, launched notices in the area of culture, bet on training, partnerships aiming the protection of the animal and the environment.
On the day of the Municipality of Praia Day, which is celebrated annually, he said a set of social policies have already been implemented, to relieve the citizens of Praia City.
He also announced the creation of a support office for the municipality to ensure day-to-day service for all those seeking municipal services, and international partnerships with the European Union, the United Nations has contributed to the start-up of several projects, while also promised the full functioning of municipal delegations.
