The national Teqball Federation has already selected Cape Verde representatives for the next World Cup, which will take place this month in Nuremberg, Germany.
According to the organization, the possible members of Cape Verde in this competition came out of the first National Teqball Championship 2022, a competition organized by the National Federation, with the participation of about 30 Teqers from the different islands.
In this competition held at the Vává Duarte sports hall, the international duo RodirleI “Rody” Duarte Ekson da Graça (Sal Island) won the national title in men’s pairs, Sidnei Silva (Sal) became national champion in the men’s individual defeat Rody Duarte in the final, and Eckson da Graça completed the podium by qualifying in third position.
The duo Samira Bettencourt/Bruno Évora (Santiago Sul) won the national in mixed pairs.
