Ten young from Canary Islands are in Cape Verde for the third edition of the Becas África program

A group of 10 young people from Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, has been in Praia for three weeks for the third edition of professional internships in companies, public administration services and Cape Verdean organizations.

This professional exchange is organized by the Becas África program, an initiative of the Chamber of Tenerife, which has the collaboration of the University Foundation of Las Palmas for training, employment and business development.

These young people will train for five months in Cape Verdean companies, until next June, in the areas of telecommunications engineering, law, business economics and education.

After the presentation of the program, the administrator of the University Foundation of Las Palmas, Eduardo de Lara, informed that this program, which aims to improve the employability of young graduates from the Canary Islands, is budgeted at 300,000 euros.
