Stakeholders Encouraged to Collaborate for a Robust Education System in Koosin

Nouna: The High Commissioner of Koosin Province, Noufo Dembele, officially installed Nindamou Frederic Yehoun as the Provincial Director of Primary Education for Koosin in a ceremony held in Nouna. During the event, Dembele urged all stakeholders to collaborate in building a resilient and high-quality education system.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Yehoun was appointed by the Council of Ministers on October 9, 2025, and his installation took place on October 29, 2025. In his address, Yehoun called for the collective effort of all stakeholders to contribute to the development of a strong educational framework in Koosin. He acknowledged the role of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in maintaining peace, which allows the community to function smoothly.

Yehoun’s connection to Nouna stems from his involvement in sports, particularly as a referee for the Burkinabe football federation, which introduced him to the city. The outgoing director, Adama Dao, expressed his support and welcomed Yehoun while also offering apologies to those he might have offended during his tenure.

Philibert Hyacinthe Coulibaly, the regional director of primary education in Bankui, extended his congratulations to Yehoun and encouraged Dao in his future endeavors. Noufo Dembele emphasized the importance of effective communication and listening skills for Yehoun as he assumes his new role.
