Spain wants to strengthen parliamentary cooperation with Cabo Verde – Ambassador

Spain’s ambassador to Cabo Verde, Ana Paredes Pietro, on Monday highlighted the “excellent” level of cooperation between the two countries, considering it important that relations at the parliamentary level be strengthened.

The new extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Cabo Verde made these statements to Inforpress, after being received by the President of the National Assembly (AN), Austelino Correia.

“Today I had the opportunity to present what is a common agenda for intensifying relations at all levels between Spain and Cabo Verde. The relations are very close and very rich, but both sides want to go further, not only in the economic field that has been very important, but also in the social area and for us the relationship at the parliamentary level of the two countries is a perfect channel”, the ambassador said.

According to Ana Pietro, the Spanish parliament has sought every day to bring Spanish citizens closer together, noting that Cabo Verde, like this initiative, has made a daily effort to bring all Cabo Verdeans closer to parliament with emphasis on young people and implementing a more participatory culture.
