Ouagadougou: The Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPF) of Sourou, Aldjouma Soro, issued a call to action for educators and partners within the region, emphasizing the importance of maintaining patriotic commitment as the 2025-2026 administrative year commences.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Soro addressed the educational community, including administrative authorities, defense and security forces, Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), and education partners. His message, delivered on Monday, September 15, 2025, highlighted the achievements of the past year and encouraged continued dedication to fostering quality education.
Mr. Soro expressed his gratitude to the stakeholders for their impressive results from the previous year, attributing success to their determination and dedication to public service. He emphasized the importance of sustaining this commitment to ensure quality education for all children, aligning with the educational policies of the country’s leadership.
The director also extended his best wishes for a peaceful, healthy, and successful administrative start to the entire educational community of Sourou. Notably, Sourou province achieved the highest success rate in the 2025 Primary School Certificate (CEP) session within the former Boucle du Mouhoun region, with a success rate of 96.14%.
