The president of the National Teachers Union (Sindep), Jorge Cardoso, considered, in the City of Praia, the sanitary conditions are not created at national level for the start of the school year 2021/2022, in September 13.
The Sindep’s leader, who was speaking at a press conference on the opening of the 2021/2022 school year, claimed that there are peripheral schools without sanitary conditions to kick off the school year, having requested equality for all schools in the country.
According to him, Sindep is not against the opening of the new school year in September 13, but, as he added, the conditions should be created in all schools in the country and not only in cities.
He said the union organization aims for “equality” for all children at the national level, and “no conditions are being created” for this, just as the Ministry of Education is communicate.
