My visit is a gesture of solidarity, to show the President and people of Burkina Faso that they are not alone. We will do everything possible to bring peace back to this country,” stated President Bio.

He further highlighted that development and peace are essential priorities and that nations in the region must collaborate to achieve these goals. President Bio noted, “This is my second visit, because we must show our solidarity with a country that is making great efforts, but is hampered by the security situation,” expressing his commitment on behalf of ECOWAS and Sierra Leone.
