Ouagadougou: The President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Julius Maada Bio, arrived in Ouagadougou this Tuesday for a working and friendship visit. He was welcomed upon disembarking from the plane by the President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore.
According to Burkina Information Agency, after the military honors, the procession headed to the Koulouba Presidential Palace. The two presidents will hold a working session extended to their delegations, followed by a closed-door meeting between Presidents Captain Ibrahim Traore and Dr. Julius Maada Bio.
They will discuss several issues of importance to both countries, such as strengthening bilateral cooperation, simplifying trade, and regional and international issues.
This is the second visit of the Sierra Leonean Head of State to Burkina Faso since Captain Ibrahim Traore’s accession to the highest office of the country. This reflects the excellent relations between Ouagadougou and Freetown.
