The Fishermen Association of Mindelo (APM) is diversifying its activities including promoting events to improve business conditions and create a fund to help disadvantaged members.
In this sense, according to information from this organization, they have been carrying out a set of actions to improve the associates living and business conditions.
One of the most visible concerns, according to the same source, is the lack of funding for the most disadvantaged fishermen to raise capital to buy the fish and for this the Fishermen Association of Mindelo intends to create a solidarity fund.
One of the ways found by APM to achieve this goal was to carry out a set of artistic-cultural activities to raise resources and that begin this Friday, with the presentation of two sessions of the play “Pinha ma Kentei” by the Santo Antão theater group Juventude em Marcha.
