The Sao Vicente and Sao Nicolau teams are at the 2022 Inter-Islands Futsal Cup finals, when they won this Thursday, the 13th, in the Vavá Duarte Duarte Pavilion, in the City of Praia, the Sal and Santiago teams respectively.
The Sao Vicente team, in the first match of the night, beat the Sal 4-2 on penalty-kicks, after a draw 1-1 during the 40 minutes.
In the second semi-final, Sao Nicolau beat the host Santiago Island 1-0 in a match in which the Sao Nicolau goalkeeper Matchona was the “man of the match”.
The final is held on Saturday, the 15th, at the Vavá Duarte pavilion and has the live broadcast of the Cabo Verde Television (TCV). The tournement, promoted by the Together for the Officialization of Futsal in Cabo Verde Movement, takes place since October 8 at the Vavá Duarte Sports Pavilion.
