São Salvador do Mundo: Twenty young people receive training of referees on the futsal modality

Twenty young people from the municipality of São Salvador do Mundo, in the countryside of Santiago, began this Monday, in Achada Igreja, a training course for futsal referees, with a view to remedy the existing deficit of the men of the whistle in the sport.

The training course, which will take place for a week, in the Noble Hall of the City Hall, is promoted by the Municipality of São Salvador do Mundo, in partnership with the Sport and Youth Institute (IDJ).

The coordinator of sport from the local authority, Henrique Pereira, told the press that the training aims to fill the existing deficit of referees trained in the county in the futsal modality.

It is that, according to him, in the summer tournaments and municipality festivities they have called to the men of the whistle from the neighboring municipality, Santa Catarina. He therefore added that this training course is due to the fact that the municipality has four sports centres, but that, nevertheless, it did not have trained futsal referees.
