The Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister and Youth and Sport considered, in Ribeira Brava (São Nicolau), all the Government’s programs for the youth aim to connect young people to opportunities.
Carlos Monteiro was speaking at the opening of the 2nd National Youth Forum, under the theme “Youth and sustainable development in times of COVID-19”, this Tuesday, which classified as a way for young people in each municipality to realize the living reality experienced in other municipalities of the country and collect “good recommendations” for policy makers.
“The Government has identified as a priority to connect young people to opportunities, so we create public policies to give tools and for young people to be competitive and have access to opportunities,” the Minister said.
Carlos Monteiro highlighted, at the time, the involvement of the City Hall of Ribeira Brava in the initiative “Cabo Verdean Capital City of Youth”, for the engagement of a “team.
