Santo Antão: Tourist guides warn of the worrying state of the Paul’s back roads

Many tourist guides this Tuesday alerted the City Hall of Paul, the state they consider “worrisome” on the side roads of that county.

Speaking to Inforpress, the tourist guide Vitorino Monteiro said that for a long time, the class has been claiming the cleaning of the back roads in the Municipality of Paul, but the work has not yet been done.

He claimed that “daily” many tourists and guides walk along Paul’s side road, and have difficulty getting around due to the weeds and plants that are in the way.

“We are concerned about these accesses that do not provide any security for us and our customers. This problem has also bothered many tourists. Several times, they question what is done with the amount of tourist tax they pay for each night spent on the island”, he pointed out.
