Santo Antão: Project on agroforestry systems highlighted at the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference

The project on agroforestry systems in Santo Antão, which is being implemented in the City Hall of Porto Novo, is featured at the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference 2022 (COP27), which takes place in Egypt.

The project, promoted by the ADPM – Mértola Heritage Defense Association (Portugal), and which aims to combat climates changes in Santo Antão, can be seen in the room dedicated to West Africa, where the work that has been carried out in the intervention zones, namely, the Planalto Norte and Leste and Casa de Meio.

The twenty-seventh conference on climate changes is promoted by the United Nations and runs until November 18, in Egypt.

The project on agroforestry systems has been highlighted by several organizations for its impact on combating climates changes on Santo Antão.
