The Sharing Love Portuguese Association, which has been operating in the social field in Porto Novo, has in preparation a new mission to this municipality with a focus on the “Rebuild Lagoa” project, the association itself reported on Monday.
“In addition to donations made to Santo Antão, with the ‘Rebuild Lagoa’ project’ our volunteers and the City Hall of Porto Novo will get to work in the rehabilitation of housing,” said this non-governmental organization, which has been developing solidarity actions in the Planalto Leste.
As part of the ‘Rebuild Lagoa’ project, the Sharing Love Association intends, in partnership with the City Hall of Porto Novo, to support the families of Lagoa in the rehabilitation of their homes.
By the way, the Mayor of Porto Novo recognized the role of this association in supporting entities in solving social problems in this municipality, through solidarity campaigns for the most disadvantaged. “The Sharing Love association left Portugal and traveled to Cabo Verde, more specifically to the municipality of Porto Novo, to spread love, affection and knowledge,” the City Hall said in a statement to which Inforpress had access.
