The ambassador of the Our Lady of Piety Chapel social project, said on Monday, that she already has “the green light” of her partners and the subsidy from the Netherlands to finance part of the 18 million escudos of construction.
Maria Teresa Segredo told the “good news” during the Eucharistic celebration in honor of the patron saint of Janela, Our Lady of Piety.
“I had said That I would no longer participate in major projects, but then I was invited by the parish priest, Father José Júlio Fortes to be ambassador of the Our Lady of Piety Chapel social project I decided to accept it,” she said.
And because I’m “stubborn”, Maria Teresa Segredo said that before coming to Cabo Verde she would have to “bring” a “novelty” on the construction project of the Chapel of Janela Nisso, according to the same source, when meeting with the partners, these “decided” to subsidize at least a part of the 18 million escudos so that the construction of the chapel is a reality.
