Santa Cruz: Mayor recognizes emigrants contribution in the development process of the municipality

The mayor of Santa Cruz, Carlos Silva, recognized Tuesday the Santa Cruz emigrants contribution in the development process of that municipality in the countryside of Santiago, highlighting their support in time for the pandemic.

In statements to the press, on the sidelines of the meeting with the emigrants, who are on vacation in the county, the mayor assured that the City Hall he runs is betting heavily on infrastructure so that they can find a “clean and safe” municipality every year.

“We recognize that emigrants are our best development partners. Today, Santa Cruz is where it is thanks to the emigrants contribution, so we annually take advantage they are on vacation in the county to thank and honor them”, acknowledged the Mayor of Santa Cruz. However, the City Hall has also created conditions and made land available so that they can build their own homes and also to invest in the most diverse areas.
