The Regional Command of the National Police (PN), in Sal, marked the commemoration of the 152 years of the creation of the Police Corps of Cabo Verde, on November 15, with the distinction of twenty officers.
The 20 officers of the National Police, in Sal, were distinguished for their professional merit, exemplary behavior, assiduity and distinguished services.
The ceremony alluding to the 152nd anniversary of the creation of the Cape Verde Police Force took place in front of the Regional Command, in Espargos, with the presence of representatives of various institutions and forces on the island.
According to the commander of the National Police in Sal, Aguinaldo Antunes, the distinction represents the recognition of these professionals for the “zealous way” in which they have been carrying out their duties, with a spirit of mission and defense of the good name of the institution.
