After a break two-year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Santa Maria Festival returned to the spotlight, with the organization take a positive stock of these two days of music on the sand of Santa Maria beach.
The president of the organizing committee of the 30th edition of the Santa Maria Festival, Hermínio Monteiro, explained that with this stop it was necessary to reschedule the event, compared to what had been done in previous years.
The responsible, who was also councillor for the culture portfolio in the previous mandate of the City Hall led by Júlio Lopes, said that it took four months of “hard work” to be able to assemble this new Santa Maria Festival project.
