A team of NASA scientists is in Sal Island to develop climate and environmental work, and on Wednesday shared balloon launch for space research with high school students.
The scientists Will McCarty, Nasa’s headquarters, Program Scientist, John Zawislak from the University of Miami, a Research Scientist, and Ed Nowottnick from NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Research Scientist have been in Sal at the end of last August.
Throughout September, scientists from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) from the United States of America have been aboard NASA’s DC-8 airborne science laboratory to study the interactions between the dust of the Sun and tropical clouds.
According to a note to which Inforpress had access, the mission called Convective Processes Experiment – Cabo Verde (CPEX-CV) is a joint project between NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA), whose flights are carried out from the Sal Island.
