Cheetah Start CEO Samir Pereira today highlighted the participation and engagement of people in the 39th edition of Startup Weekend, which took place for three days in Sal, whose marathon ended Sunday night.
Samir Pereira spoke to Inforpress at the end of the Startup Weekend work, the fifth edition to be held in Sal, but in Cabo Verde the 39th, this time in the context of the celebrations of the tenth anniversary, this year under the theme “Sustainability”.
According to the same source, the narrative that young people do not have initiatives, do not want to develop their own productions, being somewhat apathetic.
Contrary to this thesis, Samir Pereira said that Cheetah Start has a different perception, arguing that young people, even the less young, potential entrepreneurs, are increasingly interested, looking for more and more ways to create other solutions, alternatives, not only to support them, but also to create solutions for the communities where they are inserted.
