Mouhoun: The regional director in charge of secondary education in Boucle du Mouhoun, Raoul Sanon, has congratulated Gis¨le Sou Malo, who was recognized as the best teacher in the region during the national day of academic excellence held in Ouagadougou.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Gis¨le Sou Malo, accompanied by officials from Dedougou municipal high school where she teaches, presented her prize on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Her award, a testament to her commitment and professionalism in education, was a symbol of national recognition. The prize included a Sirius motorcycle, a laptop computer, 500,000 CFA francs, and an official certificate of recognition signed by the President of Faso.
“This award is the result of hard work, a passion for teaching, and an unwavering commitment to our students. It shows that merit is always recognized,” remarked the regional director, while also extending congratulations to the teaching staff of Dedougou municipal high school for their support.
Gis¨le Sou/Malo dedicated her award to her colleagues, students, and the educational community, emphasizing that the recognition motivates her to continue striving for quality education and contribute to the development of the Burkinabe education system.
