Regional Councilor for Culture of the UNESCO Dakar Regional Bureau visits Cape Verde

The Regional Councilor for Culture of the UNESCO Dakar Regional Bureau, Adèle Nibono, is visiting Cape Verde from February 22 to 24 with a focus on strengthening the partnership in the cultural sector.

According to the Government press release, this visit takes place within the framework of the partnership between the Institute of Cultural Heritage (IPC) and the UNESCO Dakar Bureau.

The same, stresses the note, aims to promote the strengthening of its capacities in the conservation and enhancement of the national cultural heritage and the exchange of experiences for the challenges that these processes entail.

As part of this trip, Adèle Nibono paid a visit this Wednesday 22, to Cidade Velha, a World Heritage Site, followed by a visit to the city of Assomada and the Concentration Camp of Tarrafal.
