Prime Minister reinforces Government engagement in the institutional development of the National Police

The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, reinforced this Tuesday the Government’s engagement with the institutional development of the National Police (PN), stressing that in recent years there have been clear gains in terms of salary chart, among others.

In the list of gains, the Prime Minister, speaking at the celebrations of the 152 years of the National Police, celebrated today, also spoke of the increase in personnel, training, means, equipment and facilities.

“We will continue to comply and reinforce. The Minister of Internal Administration is your guardianship, but you have the advocacy of the Prime Minister who, at Government level, has paid particular attention to the need to provide resources, motivate and create the best conditions for the performance of your function”. He spoke to those present at the ceremony that took place in the Great Hall of the National Assembly.

Ulisses Correia e Silva also stressed that, although difficult times are being experienced, the Government he leads has not failed to put security as a priority.
