President of the Republic will be distinguished in Morocco with the MEDays’2022 Grand Prix

The President of the Republic was distinguished this Saturday afternoon, in Morocco, with the MEDays Grand Prix at the 14th edition of the MEDays Forum, which takes place under the theme “From Crises to Crises – Towards a New World Order?”.

According to a press release from the Presidency of the Republic, this is an award given every year to countries, personalities, institutions, organizations or companies that have decisively contributed to the development of the South countries, or that have an increased real value in improving North-South or South-South relations.

“Until 2019, the main winners were King Mohammed VI, MEDays Environment and Sustainable Development Award, MEDays 2009; Macky Sall, President of Senegal, 2019; Paul Kagame, 2015; Mehdi Jomaa, former Prime Minister of Tunisia, 2014; Diouncounda Traoré, former interim president of Mali, 2013; Abdullah Abdullah, former leader of the Afghan opposition, 2010 and Morgan Tsvangirai, former Prime Minister of Zimbabwe, 2008”, refers to the missive.

José Maria Neves, who will preside the closing of the 14th edition of the MEDays 2022 Forum, this afternoon, which takes place under the theme “From Crises to Crises – Towards a New Order”, has also scheduled a bilateral meeting with his Liberian counterpart, Georges Weah and pays a visit to the Port of Tangier MED.
