President names new Inspector General of State Administration

Angolan head of State João Lourenço Thursday appointed Ângelo de Barros da Veiga Tavares to the position of Inspector General of State Administration (IGAE), the Presidency’s Office has announced.

Prior to his appointment, Ângelo de Barros da Veiga Tavares was sacked from the position of advisor to the President of the Republic.

On the other hand, the Head of Executive Power appointed Maria Juliana de Carvalho Van-Dúnem de Fontes Pereira as Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Angola (BNA).

In the same decree, the president terminated the mandate of Maria Juliana de Carvalho Van-Dúnem de Fontes Pereira, as executive director of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Angola.
