Presenter of “A Grua e a Musa de Mãos Dadas” says that work leads each reader to make his/her journey

The presenter of the book “A Grua e a Musa de Mãos Dadas”, by Jorge Carlos Fonseca, said that the work is a journey through literature in history and leads each reader to make his/her journey.

Carlos Bellino Sacadura made these considerations in statements to Inforpress, on the sidelines of the launch of the book “A Grua e a Musa de Mãos Dadas”, at the National Library, also having as presenter professor Mariana Faria.

“The book is a journey through literature, the arts, the islands. Each one finds a little of what I put there, that is, will identify more with this or that theme. As it is not a systematic book it is a journey through literature, through life, a kind of a diary. Each one will make its own crossing in the work,” he said.

“They are different texts, but we must not forget that it is the same person behind it. So there’s a whole kind of relationship that we can establish with text, writing. There is a reflection on the writing itself, almost the writer’s workshop, and all this is contained… the importance of poetry. It has a side of metaliterature, that is the literature talking about literature”, he added.
