Handmade products made from leather will be on display today at the Experimental Laboratory of Art and Design, at the end of training in leather arts, promoted by the Association of Friends of Nature.
The training in leather arts, which took place from the 21st of November, was conducted by Ateliê Beto Diogo and took place within the scope of the project “Structuring the ruminant chain, strengthening production systems, adding value to the product and commercialization ”.
This project, funded by the ECOWAS Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food and Swiss Cooperation, is promoted by the Association of Friends of Nature and the Association of Breeders of Curral Tortolho (Associação de Criadores de Curral Tortolho).
The objective is to contribute to the organization of the cutting ruminants production chain, increasing the productivity of traditional production systems, adding quality to the meat and adding value to the ways it is sold on the islands of S. Vicente and Santo Antão.
