The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, said Monday in São Filipe, presiding over the solemn opening of the school year 2022/23, the beginning of a school year is always “a great endeavor”.
The beginning of the school year, he explained, involves the Ministry of Education’s services, but also teachers, parents and guardians, students and the entire educational community.
After congratulating the Ministry of Education on the deconcentration of the events that mark the opening of the school year, the Prime Minister assured that everything is ready for the start, on time, of classes in all schools in the country, with recruitment and assignment of teachers, pedagogical preparation, availability of school textbooks and school social action ready to work for thousands of students.
For the Head of Government, the beginning of the school year is a family responsibility that is renewed, but also a responsibility for the Government, which, in addition to the assignment of human and financial resources conditions, equipment and infrastructure, ensures the implementation of reforms to tune the country with the increased requirements of quality of education and ensures inclusion policies.
