The Minister of Internal Administration, Paulo Rocha, this Sunday denied any disagreement with the Minister of Justice, Joana Rosa, regarding the appointment of the new director of the Judiciary Police (PJ), claiming to be “a fiction”.
“There is no misunderstanding, it is a fiction and that is all I have to say”, said Paulo Rocha, in statements to the press, on the sidelines of the commemoration ceremonies of the 14th anniversary of the Municipal Guard of Praia.
Asked whether the Council of Ministers approved at the last meeting the name of who should be the next director of the PJ, Paulo Rocha replied that he was traveling to Nigeria this week, having returned on the night of Friday, the 2nd, so he does not know what was decided.
“I answer about the Ministry of Internal Affairs”, he stressed.
