The National Democratic Congress (NDC) manifesto launch for the December 7 general election is slated for Saturday, August 24th, at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Auditorium, University of Education, Winneba, Central Region. A statement issued by Mr Sammy Gyamfi, National Communications Officer of the NDC, copied to the Ghana News Agency, said the event would have in attendance Mr John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the NDC, who is the special guest of the occasion. Also, in attendance would be the Party's National Executive Committee Members, Council of Elders, Members of Parliament (MPs), Parliamentary Candidates and an array of distinguished guests from the diplomatic corps, clergy, 'nananom', civil society organizations, academia, labour organizations and creative arts. The statement said various speakers would address the nation on thematic areas of the NDC's transformational vision for resetting and building the Ghana we want. It noted that the public and media were cordially invited and must be seat ed by 1100 hours. It entreated all media houses who intend to deploy reporters to cover the event to contact the National Communications Bureau of the NDC for necessary accreditation. Source: Ghana News Agency
