Cabo Verdean maestro Carlos Matos makes available, Saturday, the 24th, on digital platforms his newest video-single called “Brilho da Noite”, played in piano-solo format, and announces his album scheduled for October 1.
“Brilho da Noite” then joins the video-single “Julgamente de Mãe” to make known to the public some of what will be the new album of the conductor entitled “Piano Solo” that on October 1, International Music Day, will be available on digital platforms and in the National Culture Day, October 19, in order to celebrate the ephemeris, the disc will be released.
In this new project, “Brilho da Noite”, the professor at the CODARTS Academy of Music in the Netherlands, intends to show moments of own experiences that he translated into what he loves, music, explained the Insulada Producer who quotes the artist.
“Brilho da Noite”, according to the same source, is one of the themes that Matos created during the first isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“That phase allowed us to look more at ourselves, we had more time, time that was usually swallowed up by everyday life and with that isolation, allowed us to be with us, and even to have had the hypothesis of more intense observations about life itself,” said the pianist.
