Hohoe: Mr Samuel Azasu, Hohoe Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) Director of Communication, has called on Ghanaians to support the vision of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the Party for a developed nation. He said Dr Bawumia had the capabilities to develop the country with his leadership skills and vision. Mr Azasu speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after the launch of the NPP Manifesto in Takoradi, said the outlined projects and policies were fantastic towards Ghana's development. He said the free tertiary education for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) was doable because most of the PWDs had benefited from the government's free Senior High School policy. Mr Azasu said the training of one million youth and equipping them with digital and employable skills would reduce unemployment drastically. He said the support for teachers and health workers in the manifesto where they could be supported to purchase cars with engine capacity up to 1,800 cubic centimetres was a game changer. He said t he promise of introducing a simple, citizen and business friendly flat tax system and granting tax amnesty was laudable because it would enable businesses to thrive. Mr Azasu said the manifesto covered all the critical sectors of the nation and to ensure development, the electorate must give Dr Bawumia and his running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the nod in the December 7 general elections. The manifesto also promised to complete all hospitals under the Agenda 111 project to ensure every district has a hospital. Source: Ghana News Agency
