Lessons in Civics and Patriotism with Minister and Chief of Staff of the President of Faso

Ouagadougou: The Minister Director of Cabinet of the President of Faso, Captain Martha Celeste Anderson Dekomwin Medah, was the guest personality at the Faso Mebo Holiday Camp in Ouagadougou, this Monday. The Minister, who serves as Chief of Staff to the Head of State, expressed his amazement at the campers’ ability to assimilate and the spirit of camaraderie that reigns within the camp. Captain Medah engaged with the campers on the symbols and values that should guide their behavior in society.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the guest speaker emphasized the importance of respecting the national flag. “When you raise the flag, the flag is above your heads. This demonstrates the supremacy of the flag over all citizens, and we owe it respect and consideration,” stated the Minister, Director of the Office of the President of Burkina Faso.

Additionally, Captain Medah highlighted the importance of social cohesion and living together for the development of a better Burkinabe society. He stressed that without these values, no country can progress. Discipline and solidarity, he noted, are essential for fostering social cohesion, and he encouraged the campers to cultivate these values.
