Kaya: The Secretary General of the Kuilse region, Bernadette Adenyo/Serme, has called on the region’s constituted bodies and population to actively participate in the upcoming regional culture week, scheduled for September 6 and 7, 2025, in Kaya. The announcement was made during the monthly national colors raising ceremony hosted by the Kuilse Regional Directorate of Economy and Planning.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event took place on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and was attended by administrative, religious, and customary authorities, along with the Combatant Forces and leaders of socio-professional groups. The regional culture week, Kaya 2025, will mark the official launch of the regional culture weeks and is expected to bring together members of the government.
Bernadette Adenyo/Serme emphasized that competitions in various cultural disciplines will be held to select the region’s ambassadors for the national culture week planned for 2026 in Bobo-Dioulasso. She called for a collective effort and unity with artists to promote local culture.
Additionally, in anticipation of the new school year, Adenyo/Serme extended her best wishes to the region’s education stakeholders, encouraging them to build on the satisfactory results of the previous year with renewed effort and perseverance.
The ceremony also included the introduction of newly installed department heads to the audience, highlighting changes within the regional administration.
