Judo: Carolina Frances wins bronze medal at Lima Panamerican Open 2022

Cabo Verdean athlete Carolina Frances won the bronze medal in the category of -63 at the Lima Panamerican Open’2022, which took place this weekend in Lima (Peru).

 

Carolina French won, in the category of -63, the athlete from the United States of America, Sara Golden.

 

The competition brought together 15 countries from three continents and 132 competitors, of which 82 men in the categories -60, -66, -73, -81, -90, -100 3 +100 and 50 women in -48, -52, -57, -63, -70, -78 and +78 kilograms.

 

Carlolina Frances, who resides in Portugal last May, was seventh in the African Judo Championship, which took place in Egypt.

 

Next Saturday, the 24th, the athlete participates in the Bogota Panamerican Open 2022 and on the October 6 in the Tashkent World Senior Championships 2002 in Uzbekistan, informs the the International Judo Federation (IJF) official website.
