Judiciary Police and National Police praise the “good collaboration” with the Public Ministry

The central investigation departments of the Judicial Police and the National Police praised the “good collaboration” and relationship with the Public Ministry within the limits of the law, within the framework of combating crime in the country.

This position was presented to the press during a joint press conference on the balance of the mega-operation carried out this Thursday, in the neighborhood of Achada de Santo António, in Praia, which resulted in the arrest of 39 individuals, five of whom were in flagrante delicto, and seizure of cocaine, hashish and cannabis.

For the deputy director of the Central Directorate and Criminal Investigation of the National Police, Roberto Lima, the institution he represents “has no problem with the Public Ministry, on the contrary”, even reporting on the creation of a joint team for this purpose.

“The relationship has been very good; we have collaborated within the limits that compete with us. This relationship is frankly positive”, described Roberto Lima, as well as the central director of criminal investigation of the PJ, Euclides Mascarenhas, for whom “relations with the Public Ministry “are good and could not be the other way around”.
