The Member of Parliament for Jomoro Dorcas Affo-Toffey in the Western Region has opened up about an accident that almost took her life. Reports say she and three other members of her team were traveling from the constituency to Accra. While on the Accra-Cape Coast Road, two articulated trucks were trying to overtake each other. However, one of the truck drivers lost control and veered towards the Member of Parliament's car. In an attempt to save them, the MP's driver veered towards the shoulder of the road. The MP and three others who were in her F150 Raptor were rushed to the hospital, where they are receiving treatment. In a post shared via social media, the Member of Parliament expressed her gratitude for being spared. "THANK YOU JESUS! I am profoundly thankful to the Almighty God for sparing my life in what could have been a devastating tragedy. My heartfelt appreciation goes out to everyone for your prayers and well-wishes during this challenging time." Source: Ghana Web
