Handball World Cup: Cape Verde enters the second day of the training in Portugal today

The Cabo Verdean men’s handball team enters today the second day of training in Portugal, aiming at its preparation for the World Cup to be held from January 11 to 31 in Sweden and Poland.

According to Inforpress, all 19 selected already work with the Serbian coach Ljubomir Obradovic, at the Melgaço Training Centre, North of Portugal, where the players intensify training, focused on their second consecutive participation in the biggest showcase in world football.

According to the plan of the Cabo Verdean Handball Federation, in a first phase, the preparatory work is projected for the 18th to 24th, the second part from the 26th to 30th of December and a third phase from January 2nd to 5th of.

The national federation of the modality listed two friendly matches with the Portuguese team, followed by their participation in an international tournament in Switzerland from January 5th to 8th, involving world-class teams from Switzerland, Japan and Austria.
