The Académica da Boa Vista and ASA Stars from Praia are the finalists in the national men’s senior handball championship, scheduled for Friday at 9:30PM, at the Vavá Duarte Pavilion, in the City of Praia.
To reach the final, the Boa Vista team beat Atlético de São Vicente 25-23 in the semi-finals.
In the other semifinal, between two teams from the Santiago Island, ASA Stars, from the City Praia, won Graciosa 21-20, and reached the final in its debut year in the national championship.
The final game will be broadcast by Cabo Verde Television (TCV).
The draw placed the national champions of Atletico and the regional champion of São Vicente, Farense, in the same Group C, also includes of the Super Stars of Santo Antão.
