Government will develop Strategic Plan for Professional Training to define skills for specific sectors

The Government will develop the Strategic Plan for Professional Training to define skills for specific sectors of development of the country by 2026, aligned with the real needs of the economy.

To this end, it is holding, in the City of Praia, a workshop entitled “Projection of supply and demand for employment according to the needs and proposal of skills for specific sectors by 2026”.

This initiative, according to a Government note sent to Inforpress, follows the process of auscultation with key sectors with a working team for the preparation of the Strategic Plan for Professional Training.

Speaking to the press after the opening of the event, the Director General of Employment, Danilson Borges, said that this new strategic plan is in force until 2026 and it is aligned with the specific sectors identified under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
