The Government is working on the new law on financing higher education in order to ensure a higher quality and adequacy of training offers to the needs of the country’s development, Euridice Monteiro announced today.
The Secretary of State for Higher Education, who spoke to Inforpress about the situation of higher education institutions and preparations for the next school year, said that the Government intends to invest in Higher Education through the legislative instrument aimed at reshaping this level of education.
“Right now, we are working on a legislative instrument that is the new law on finance higher education, and the situation of students, especially those of higher education requires special attention,” said the Minister, who stressed that a strong focus is needed on Science, Technology and Innovation.
