On a government tour in the South-West region, a government delegation offered 30 tricycles to stakeholders in the South-West, acquired as part of the presidential initiative for community development. Composed of the Minister in charge of industry Serge Poda and the Minister in charge of youth Roland Somda, the delegation proceeded with the official handover of the tricycles to the presidents of the Special Delegations of Gaoua and Diébougou. The equipment will contribute to the execution of works of common interest, such as the construction or rehabilitation of infrastructure, the improvement of the living environment and the preservation of the environment, the strengthening of the capacities of grassroots communities. The Presidential Initiative for Community Development was adopted on August 30, 2023 by the Council of Ministers. The National Office for Major Projects coordinates the implementation of activities. Several government missions are currently crisscrossing different areas of the country t o provide support to the population and to collect their concerns and suggestions with a view to improving government action.
