Ganzourgou: The departmental high schools of Boudry, Meguet, Mogtedo, and the provincial high school of Zorgho will soon be established as multi-purpose establishments. This announcement was made by Barthelemie Boudaone, the provincial director of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training (DPESFPT) of Ganzourgou, during his address on the occasion of the 2025-2026 administrative year.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Boudaone urged all education stakeholders to engage in preparations for the upcoming school year. These preparations include establishing necessary bodies, reviewing their functions, managing staff situations, distributing admissions, and recruiting additional staff. He also highlighted the importance of maintaining school facilities through cleaning, refurbishing classrooms, repairing tables and benches, reorganizing premises, and providing essential teaching and learning materials.
Boudaone acknowledged the achievements in the BEPC and Baccalaureate exams for the 2025 session, where the Central Plateau region ranked second nationally out of thirteen regions. He credited these results to the dedication of teachers, supervisors, authorities, and partners involved in the education sector.
In light of the current security situation, Boudaone emphasized the role of education in rebuilding society, reclaiming territory, and restoring peace. He called for schools to be transformed into spaces of patriotism and urged support for the ongoing educational reforms.
He concluded his message by wishing all stakeholders in the education sector a successful return to work and a prosperous 2025-2026 school year.
