Foundation promotes intergenerational dialogue to exchange experiences on Amílcar Cabral’s thinking

The Amílcar Cabral Foundation (FAC) promoted, this Sunday, in the City of Praia, an “Intergenerational Dialogue” with a view to exchanging experiences with the new generation on the “Amílcar Cabral’s Thoughts, ideas and struggles”.

This dialogue is part, according to this institution, in the extended program for celebration of the foundation patron centenary, which is celebrated in September 2024, and in the process of applying Cabral’s written documentary legacy to UNESCO’s “Memories of the World”.

The objective, according to the moderator of the event, José Brito, is to promote a space for dialogue between generations of Cabral, given that there has been little space between generations to share ideas related to the Amílcar Cabral’s thoughts, national hero.

“The President Pedro Pires has already had the opportunity to dialogue with young people, but now we will in a more organized way have permanent dialogues, being this first [dialogue] precisely to promote the exchange of experiences and better inform the new generation of what was the struggle”, he said.
