It was the opening round of the Opening Tournament, a preparation event usually precedes the regional championship.
Also highlighted, in the same round, the victories of Mindelense and Académica, both 3-0, against Falcões do Norte and Farense, respectively, while Batuque defeated the Salamansa (1-0).
