Football Association of Fogo will meet on Saturday, the 13rd, with the federated clubs leaders in the first and second division for planning the season and conducting the draw of the events.
With regard to the first division, the planning of the season, distributed in advance to the teams from the top division, is pointed to the start the championship on December 11, with the holding of the games of the first round of the first stage, which will end on February 20, 2022.
As in the previous season, the four top-ranked teams will compete for the regional champion cup with each other and two rounds, and the other six teams will also compete, also between themselves and the two rounds, for maintenance.
The last two teams will be relegated to the second division.
The second phase begins on March 5, 2022, both for the qualification of the champion and for relegation, and the qualifying phase of the champion ends on April 17 and the qualifying round of division descent on May 29.
